School Notes Highlight Visits and Student Progress
Mrs. R H Clapp and Mrs H E Clapp visited the grammar room last week. Superintendent Harriss visited Wednesday morning. The third grade studies soils this week and pictures of rooms arrived. The primary room notes show visits by Mrs Ed Hughes Donald and Miss Hazel Mallen of Fairbury and Wellie Andrews. The Palmer method writing gains interest with rapid progress and no tardies this month.

Mies Malvina Snyder born October 6 1841 in Ohio died November 11 1914 at Steele City Nebraska aged 78 years one month five days. She married Alonzo Coons moved from Ohio in 1868 nine to Haya county Nebraska in 1875 and Steele City in 1904. Survived by husband son Harry and many relatives. Funeral Friday at Methodist church Rev Hinkle spoke on Rev 14 13. Card of thanks follows.

He left a father mother two sisters and a brother along with many relatives and a large circle of friends.
