Fire damages A-house near railroad track
A small blaze damaged a north town house owned by John Biron between eight and nine o clock last Sunday morning. Fire extinguishers in cars stopped the fire after it had breached a wall. The origin remains a mystery with a cut padlock suggesting easy entry. The occupants over the past year were W. W. Carmichel then E. Phelps. A for sale note and a literary society meeting followed later in the report with new officers elected and changes to meeting frequency.
