Peculiar accident leaves Morrowville man injured
W H Kozel 66 a leading Morrowville Kansas businessman suffered a serious injury after oil splashed on his clothing while drawing coal oil from a pressure tank. He delayed changing clothes and was badly burned. He is manager of Morrowville Lumber and a filling station operator with other business interests. He maintains a large orchard near Morrowville irrigation keeps ample apples for sale.

County League Talks Stir Northward Meeting
Fay Clark attended a baseball meeting in Rathbury Monday evening as organizers seek a county league with about six towns. A Diller meeting was planned for Wednesday night to finalize the group if all towns consent. Mrs. Eva Hamley arrived Tuesday for a two week visit with son Art and Steele City friends. John Nickerson Jr. and family suffered a fire destroying the Fuller farm residence and contents, about 54 miles north and 14 east of Diller, hoping the blaze started from a defective flue. Mrs. C. T. Whitney and Harold went to Hiawatha Kansas Saturday to visit Ralph Liebengood and family until Thursday.
