The Senior class staged The Ghost Bird a mystery comedy that delighted the audience. Supt. G V Casler directed the production with a well cast ensemble and strong performances. A three course dinner honoring Miss Grayce Deems followed by a Bonham Theatre outing marked the evening in Fairbury. The First Presbyterian Church reports a strong Sunday School attendance and a Mother's Day program with prayers, hymns, poems, and tributes. The Baccalaureate service was well attended, the Missionary Society met at Mrs. Andrew Phelps home, and the congregation extends best wishes to the 1928 high school graduates and departing teachers.

Frances James works for Mrs. Ben Wells while Mrs. Janssen called at the Malady home Friday. Asa Curry was absent from school due to illness on Tuesday. A son born to Mr. and Mrs. George Banahan on May 10. Mrs. Cuthbert went to Fairbury Tuesday to assist care for sick relatives with measles. Bank Case Dismissed Over Endicott Bank Stockholders
District Judge Moss dismissed the case of E. J. Dempster receiver for banks in this district against the stockholders of the defunct State bank of Endicott. The suit sought 15000, based on capital stock, but was dismissed due to four year statute of limitations after asset exhaustion.
