Band concert and ice cream at the park tonight

Sunday evening Wm Else and family escaped injury when their car left the road and rolled into a five foot ditch near a bridge at a sharp curve by Wm Roulston's place. The vehicle was only slightly damaged and they were traveling slowly.

Memorial Day Observed in Steele City Parade and Ceremonies

Memorial Day ceremonies held last Saturday in Steele City featured a parade at 10 o clock headed by the Steete City band in new uniforms. Veterans of World War I and visitors joined choral lodges and schoolchildren for a cemetery ceremony with Uncle Sam float and naval uniforms.
