Edna James of Edgar visits friends this week. Mrs. F. V. Lowe and children left last Friday for a few weeks. Mrs. Humphreys and children left Wednesday to visit her parents at Wisner, then to join Mr. Humphreys.

Bank Change Hands As Endicott Trustee Takes Control

The State Bank of Endicott was turned over to GG W Slaughter Tuesday morning with him holding a controlling interest gained about two months earlier. Former owner Hodges and cashier was in Seele City planning a sale of household goods and will depart for Kansas City for cement construction work. A light local vignette follows with family visits from Lincoln residents Wright and Bryant, and a high school senior banquet at Mary-Etta hotel in Fairbury East featuring a three course dinner and a ride through town supervised by chaperone Miss Elsie Babcock.
