Nebraska Veterans Hospital Proposed for State

Major C F Scharmann received a Western Union from Senator Howell about a Federal Board of Hospitalization plan approving a hospital for Nebraska with up to two hundred beds. The site to be determined later after competition with Iowa Missouri and Kansas. The facility would serve veterans of all wars with emphasis on World War I veterans.

Sunday school 10 a.m. church service 11 a.m. Endeavor 7 p.m. preaching 8 p.m. Last Sunday drew fine attendance. Boy Scouts, thirteen boys with Rev Filinger, at Camp Jefferson for two days. Thanks to YMCA and Mr Leask for camp access. Visitors included Sampson Bundy Mitchell and Mr Lowe with candy and ice pops. Tender foot tests completed by twelve boys.
