Auto License Totals Reach Jefferson County for Last Year

Jefferson county auto licenses rose with a large shipment delayed by a strike at the Louis factory last year. The consignment included 3800 touring plates, 350 trucks, 10 trailers, 15 motorcycles, and 40 dealer plates, with fees around 40000 dollars and expected to grow this year. Extra staff has been hired to handle the workload.

The Farmers Union Local held their annual meeting last Monday afternoon and elected M. G. Reelis president A. B. James vice president Robt. Audrey Henderson Hurt in Ato Accident Near Gallup

Word from here says Audrey Henderson was injured when the car he rode in was struck by a Santa Fe train at a grade crossing near Gallup New Mexico. He was unconscious when found by the train crew. evidence on body includes an Odd Fellows receipt. Henderson reportedly suffered back and rib injuries. companion Elmer Campbell’s whereabouts unknown. Sam Henderson of Oklahoma, Audrey’s brother, left for Gallup.
