Quarantine and blizzard disrupt Steele City and Endicott rail service. Obituary for A J Coons notes long-term illness and death. Over the past week Steele City reports several influenza cases with ten homes under quarantine. Some patients were seriously ill but by noon Thursday all were convalescing. Schools have closed and precautions are in place to prevent further spread.
