In Steele City a church reports growing programs including preaching Bible School Junior Christian Endeavor Young People Ladies Aid and Missionary Society. A Midweek prayer and study group began in September studying missions while inviting broader participation. The pastor F G Knauer will preach on The Unity of the Church next Sunday urging attendance and service.

Notice from the State Railway Commission confirms the Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph Co. will raise rates at Benson and Endicott. New net rates are business one party 2.75 dollars, residence one party 1.50 dollars, and farm 1.50 dollars. The business and residence rates take effect December 1, 1921, with the farm rate effective January 1, 1922.
Publishers mail the 1922 Youths Companion Home Calendar to subscribers with paid $2.50 annual subscriptions. Calendar shows current month days in bold with margins listing adjacent months in smaller type. The item highlights standard form, convenience, and novelty, noting price changes and Journal subscription offers.
