Otis Allen is sick. The Mallory sisters visit Edgar relatives. A rough riding event is set for Biba next Sunday. Numerous visits cross state lines, with Lyndia Wing in Culbertson and Lucile Andrews from St. Joe visiting grandparents. Reynolds Fall Festival planning underway. Several trips to Lincoln Omaha and Minneapolis noted.

Auto Collision Near Jansen Injures Cassell and Family
O. E. Cassell, en route from here to Bruno Nebraska with goods, collided about three miles north of Jansen after noon yesterday. He survived with cuts and bruises and was taken to Dr. Taylor's hospital in Fairbury. A Hudson sedan from Des Moines carried a man and wife and family. a lady suffered serious injuries and both cars, including Mr Lowe's, were damaged and sent to Fairbury for repairs.

Wind and hail sweep rural section causing property damage
A strong wind and hailstorm struck a country section around 9:30 Tuesday, with about two inches of rain. A large hail cover stretched 1.5 to 2 miles north to south, damaging corn, flowers, and small vegetation. A limb crushed Joe Davis’ house and barn roof blown off Morton place. other damages likely.
