Odell Goes Dry in Village Election Victory

Odell voters elected J.H. Gilian and H.McGinley as village trustees by a large majority amid a turnout of 109 ballots. The referendum passed 65 to 39 to end liquor sales, marking Odell as dry. The result follows last year's wet margin of two votes.

Eighth Grade Party At Winnie Carr Home

The grammar room pupils and teacher held a party Wednesday evening at Winnie Carr's home. Music and games provided entertainment, with pink and white decorations in the eighth grade colors. Cake and ice cream were served as refreshments. about 17 attended and all reported a good time.
