Duckworth left for Shenandoah Iowa after a week at Jacob Cook's home. Mrs. Ebermeier has been ill for two weeks with no major change. Egg shipments set a local record with ninety five cases, thirty dozen per case. A stray horse, claimed near Swanton, Neb, was recovered by its owner. Village election saw low turnout of 54 votes with Clapp and Luhm reelected. J C Wilson got 17 votes. An accidental discharge occurred last Saturday when Walter Pickering handled a gun while loading a boat. The hammer struck the boat edge, tearing flesh from the left hand. he received medical attention and is recovering.
