Pa House battle hinges on Philly suburbs
The Delaware County special election could give Republicans a 102-101 House majority, affecting Governor Josh Shapiro’s agenda and a looming abortion rights referendum. Republican Katie Ford faces Heather Boyd in a district shattered by the Zabel resignation amid harassment allegations, with Libertarian Alfe Goodwin also on the ballot. Ford campaigns against the abortion amendment. Boyd ties Ford to GOP efforts to restrict abortion access and cites the Zabel scandal in her defense.
