The Anson area display by the Jones County Home Demonstration Council showcased 173 entries across vegetables fruits brined foods jellies and preserves with quality graded by size ripeness color and standard containers. Ribbons were awarded to members of Pleasant Hill Noodle Davie Hawley Lueders South Hamlin Corinth and Swan Chapel clubs for items including string beans beets cucumbers pickles peaches berries and jams.
