Stamford Business Girls Club Social Draws 45 Members
About forty five members of the Stamford Business and Professional Women’s Club attended a September social at the Stamford Inn. The event, planned by a committee led by Miss Grace Gerhart, included a four course dinner, songs by the Stamford Rotary Orchestra, a humorous sketch, and a talk by Miss Jane Brown on “The Independent Woman.” Nine new members were introduced and a plan for a monthly luncheon was discussed. Special guest Julia A. Bolt, from an out of town federation, called attendance the best she had seen.
