Charter Oil well near Lueders shows strong flow in Bluff Creek Sand
The Charter Oil and Gas Company N M Mims No 5 well about two and a half miles east of Lueders tested 337 barrels in the Railroad Commission test. The rig moved to a new location on Bickley land offsetting the Mims tract near Post Oak School. The well flowed ten barrels hourly from 1590 feet with eleven feet of sand drilled.

Circus Arrives in Stamford Next Wednesday
The Seal Brothers three ring wild animal circus comes to Stamford next Wednesday with shows at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. The event claims to be the largest motorized circus, featuring three herds of elephants including Big Ena, touted as the world’s biggest elephant. The program includes Matsumoto troupe, Delmar Trio, Peggy Webb on the flying trapeze, the Cornells, the Henry Duo, and Johnnie Lynn the clown, in a high standard family attraction with no games of chance.

J. L. Hill Jr of Rule becomes manager of the Stamford Production Credit Association replacing Martin McCain who resigned to take a state bank examiner post. Soft Water Routed Into City Mains After Purification Upgrade
