The Tenth Annual Texas Cowboy Reunion will be July 3 4 and 5 next year. Board of directors met after the stockholders session to set the dates to avoid Fourth of July congestion. Officers remain largely the same with R M Swenson added as vice president. Financials show funds for improvements to the grounds.

Funeral held Tuesday for Amos Johnson 15 of Stamford son of Mr and Mrs J L Johnson. He died Monday from meningitis after a skull fracture suffered in an automobile accident weeks earlier. Ritz Boxing Club Formed in Stamford for Amateur Contests
Plans move forward for the Ritz Boxing Club of Stamford to stage amateur contests at the Ritz Theatre auditorium. Secretary H M Hughes says a local talent pool could form a team to compete in future Golden Gloves and intercity meets. Men and boys in Stamford and trade territory may join by leaving name, weight and address at the Grand or Ritz Theatre box office or contacting Mr Hughes. As entries grow a gymnasium will be opened for training at no cost to contestants. Further announcements will follow in this paper.

Shirttail Quartet From Stamford Appears on KRLD Radio
The Shirttail quartet from Stamford performed on the Stamps Convention of the Air program broadcast by Radio Station KRLD in Dallas Wednesday night between 11 and 12. The group includes P. K. Pearson, Wayne Hargrove, Skeet Glenn, and Cil Wren. The quartet name arose from a summer misnaming of Shirtsleeve quartet that stuck.
