Fire Destroys Car And Garage On Ferguson Street
A fire at the Sam Fleming residence on South Ferguson street at 12:40 a.m. destroyed a six cylinder Chevrolet coupe and the garage it occupied. No insurance covered the building or the vehicle. Fire officials believe the car sparked the blaze, likely from a wiring short, and the flames consumed the structure before arrival of the crew.
