Charges Filed Against Pair in Grocery Stickup
Robbery with firearms charges were filed against Freddie Earl Harrison and Roland Earl Tessier in connection with a late week hold up at Hilltop Grocery on Stamford’s north outskirts. The suspects, both of Burkburbur, were captured shortly after the hijacking and identified by the store operators Mr and Mrs N D Lewis. About $710 was reported taken.

Ground Breaking for Housing Project Begins Monday

Left Wrist Broken In Mishap At Stamford Lake
An outing at Stamford Lake ended badly for a visitor Tuesday with a fall that left Mrs Billie McCauley injured. She sustained a broken wrist but was later dismissed from hospital and allowed to go home on Wednesday.
