Child With Rare Blood Disease Is Brought To Hospital
Two year old Jane Brown was brought to Stamford Sanitarium from Wienert Wednesday suffering from a rare blood disease hemmor rhagiec porpora. She is in critical condition and receiving blood transfusions and injections until treatment can take effect.

Hen Lays Two Eggs on One Day Found on Farm
A farm near Stamford reports a hen laid two eggs in the same day. H. E. Sharer on the E. B. Harrison farm 18 miles southwest of Stamford provides evidence of two soft shell eggs connected by a tube like growth. Each egg is distinct and roughly normal in size. The shells are so soft they flatten on a flat surface.

Four Negroes Apprehended After Stamford Thefts
Four Negro shoplifters from Abilene were arrested in Hamlin after stealing goods from Strauss Dry Goods L Schwarz & Company and Hassen Dry Goods. The pursuit began when Strauss notified police and located the suspects in Hamlin. They were jailed in Anson after capture by Hamlin officer Bill Johnson and transfer to county authorities.

Rule Child's Neck and Arm Broken In Auto Accident
Three year old Glen Sloan of Rule was struck by a car driven by Miss Evelyn Westmoreland last Thursday afternoon. He suffered a broken neck a fractured left arm and a dislocated left wrist and was placed in a plaster cast at Stamford Sanitarium. Doctors expect a full recovery though his condition remains serious.
