Sanford Hodge owner of the Grand theatre reported a life size James Dean cut-out missing from in front of the theatre on Tuesday night. He noted the figure cost 14.75 dollars and was used with two passes offered as incentive for its return.

Mrs. R. P. Small Dies in Galveston at 71
Mrs. R. P. Small 71, longtime Stamford resident, died Sunday at 12 55 p.m. in Galveston UTMB after an emergency operation. She was born Hattie Dodgen in Arkansas on December 20 1885 and moved to Stamford in 1909. Survived by three sisters and six brothers, services held Tuesday at Central Christian Church with burial in Highland Cemetery.

New York Man Hurt In Stamford Area Highway Crash
