Child Struck by Auto on Hamilton Street
Rebecca Faye Ernest a 13 year old Stamford student and volleyball player was struck by an automobile while crossing Hamilton Street in front of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Her hip was fractured and she suffered severe bruises. The car driven by Dalton Lee Gressett traveling east swerved to avoid her and he was taken to the hospital for observation. She is reported to be doing nicely.
