Debt ceiling debate and a farmer's take on taxes
Editor notes The Old Philosopher on a Paint Creek farm critiques a tax cut and the government debt. He likens tax cuts to rainfall not yet observed and ridicules raising the debt ceiling as a cure for inflation. He jokes that Congress easily raises the debt limit while individuals face bankers. He cautions against endless borrowing and asks where to apply for a personal debt ceiling.
