Fiddling Contest Set For Fourth At Stamford Reunion

Stamford police hunted three young men after an unsuccessful bank robbery attempt at Peacock Bank around midnight. The nightwatchman fired when the trio was discovered. they fled in a westbound automobile with a Colorado license plate, with no injuries reported.

Lake No 4 Restored as Fishing and Hunting Ground
Lake No 4 near Stamford will be restored as a fishing and hunting ground operated by the Stamford Rod and Gun Club. Ordinance Passed to Rid City of Wrecking Yards
