Sealed bids to furnish labor, material and equipment for Stamford Municipal Airport improvements are due by 1 00 p m June 28 1968 at Stamford City Hall. Plans may be obtained for 25 and bids must meet E O 11246 and Equal Opportunity clauses.
The city invites bids for construction of improvements on Davenport Street Columbia Drive Columbia Street Blackstock Street Sherry Lane Elizabeth Street Cuba Street Texas Street Gould Street Yale Street and related works including grading curb and gutters driveways and asphalt surfaces. Bids must include cashier's check certified check or bid bond for the full bid price and performance and payment bonds totaling 10 percent. Plans and specs available from City Manager Dallas consulting engineers for a deposit of 25 dollars refundable if provisions are met.
Revival services at Trinity Baptist Church run from June 23 to June 30 with Rev. Marion Baker preaching. Harold Walker, formerly Trinity’s music director and now at First Baptist Church in Graham, will lead singing. Morning services start 10 am. nightly services at 7 pm with prayer and worship at 7:30. Nursery provided.
