The Central Presbyterian congregation dedicated its new church with Rev. J. S. Hodges of Denison delivering a logical sermon. The morning program featured choir music led by Mrs. H. R. Pennington and a quintet of women voices. Rev. G. A. Chatfield of Frederick Oklahoma gave the evening message, with a quartet by C. J. Klein and others. A bountiful feast followed in the new basement designed for large gatherings, serving about 200 at a time. The church, fully paid for, marked a joyous milestone attended by friends from neighboring churches.

J W Morse of Stamford reports eight acres of maize in full bloom. He expects to harvest by August first for feed and plans to cut main stalks and save seed from dwarf stalks. Morse bred the variety over years to shorten height and maturity. Other farmers can obtain Morse seed for future crops.

Baptist Revival Begins Sunday at First Stamford Church
Preparations are complete for a two week revival at the First Baptist Church starting Sunday June 14 led by Rev. W. C Moffett with Dr. W. H. Sims of Mert Texas as speaker. Music director Mr. R O Cowker of Fort Worth will lead singing and supervise boys and girls services. Daily sessions include 10 am and 8 15 pm to be held on the lawn. invitations extend to Stamford and surrounding areas.

Church of Christ closes successful revival
A two week revival at the Church of Christ ended with an overflow crowd on Sunday. The morning service concluded with a basket dinner for over 500 members and friends. Fourteen new members were received by baptism and six by reclamation. Prominent evangelist Rev Price Billingsley from McMinnville led the campaign with his family. He traveled from Breckinridge to Tulsa for the meeting. Out of town visitors included Mr and Mrs Creath Harvey and Mr and Mrs G Harvey of Nugent Mr and Mrs Mack Wright and Mr and Mrs C R Billygwely of Anson and others from nearby communities.
