Daily Vacation Bible School Opens at Central Presbyterian
The Daily Vacation Bible School at Central Presbyterian Church began Monday and will end with a Friday picnic and a following Sunday evening commencement. Classes run daily 4:30 to 11 am except Saturdays, with age groups 4–6, 7–8, and 9–12. Nellie Lindsey Dies at Avoca Home After Heart Ailment
Nellie Joyce Lindsey died at her Avoca home Thursday morning after a heart ailment. Funeral services were held Friday at 10 at Avoca Baptist Church with Joel V. Grimes and Rev. N B Daniele officiating. Burial followed at Sering Creek cemetery.
