Camp Fire Girls Enjoy Camp Despite Rain at Lueders
Ninety six of the 113 registered Camp Fire Girls attended the Lueders Baptist Encampment this week with 25 staff members. Camp director W. C. Taylor and manager Henry Littleton reported a fine program moving forward despite cool weather and intermittent rain.

Five of One Family Killed In Accident North of City
The Donald Ray Wilson family from Vernon perished in a two car crash near Haskell during a rainstorm on Memorial weekend. Father 22 and mother 22 died, children Debbie 2 and Mike 6 months, and Thomas Ray Paulhamus 4 also killed. Mrs. Wilson died three hours later. Karen Sue 3 suffering a broken leg. Paulhamus couple's son and daughter-in-law and Yaskell hospital held other relatives. Patrols Oscie Renfrow Cecil Weems assisted by Sheriff Pennington Garrett investigated.
