Story of Ruth to Be Presented Sunday Evening

The Story of Ruth will be presented at the First Baptist church Sunday at 7 PM by the Hamlin High School Choral Club with assisting male voices. The program has toured this section and is praised for its music and religious inspiration. Directed by Mrs. I. M. R. Howard.

Plans for Poultry Association Show Across Six Towns

The Chamber of Commerce building was slightly damaged by a fire caused by an oil heater last Saturday morning. The flooring and walls sustained damage while windows were affected.

Rev J M Youree Leaves Stamford for Jacksonville

Rev J M Youree former pastor of Central Presbyterian in Stamford leaves today for Jacksonville to assume pastorate at the Presbyterian church. He is accompanied by Mrs Youree and leaves after more than four years of service marked by a new church building civic work and leadership roles with Rotary Library Board Pastors Association and Stamford Fire Department chaplain. Several prospects for his replacement are in view including Rev Fred B Rogers of Lamesa who will preach here Sunday.
