The Avoca post office was forcefully entered between closing time Saturday and Sunday morning. A cash box was pried open but held only loose stamps. Personnel Arriving to Start Stamford Flying School
A refresher course for flying school instructors will open possibly Friday with six civilian instructors in the initial class. About 25 instructors total will take the course, with 11 to be chosen for the first cadet class of 56 arriving March 22. Captain Bob Arnold leads the course at Stamford. Temporary HQ are at the Stamford Inn as construction progresses for the field east of Stamford and the municipal airport north of town.
