Local students stage Christmas play at Oliver School
Wednesday afternoon Oliver School presented Children’s Joyous Tribute to the Christ Child. Directed by Doris E Rodriguez and Cynthia Parker the play was produced by the remedial reading and migrant program with Lola Sanchez and Jean Wilson assisting. Participants were remedial reading students from grades two and three.

Local Students Aid McCaulley Aid Fund Established
Stamford Chamber of Commerce set up the McCaulley Aid Fund at First National Bank to help families affected by the December 8 bus truck crash west of Roby. Four students died and others were injured during a Reynolds School and McCaulley School bus collision en route to a basketball tournament.
