Thirty emergency housing units recently completed were opened for rent to civilian employees of the Stamford Flying School this week. Kinney Funeral Home prepared the body for burial and took it to Abilene for shipment to Mexia. Funeral was held at Mexia Saturday. He was born February 12 1862 in Texas and was a retired farmer. Survivors include a son Lee Hodge Mineola a stepson Fred Duncan and four daughters Mrs F A Brown Avoca Mrs Willis Blackmon Mexia Mrs Minnie Phillips Houston and Mrs Alice Boyte Carbet with 50 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
