Members from 17 counties attended the first annual Rolling Plains PCA gathering in Stamford after the merger with Memphis PCA. A record turnout saw Burson relected president and Hensley, Glover, Burson, and Claburn elected to a five member board.

Hooterville Cannonball Crew to Visit Stamford on Friday

TV stars Smiley Burnette and Rufe Davis from Petticoat Junction will perform in Stamford on Friday morning and afternoon. They will greet fans on the square, pose for autograph pictures, and appear in firefighter outfits aboard the city’s fire engine.
