He cited high tax collections since 1945 and argued federal aid reallocates citizens money, urging resistance to government control of the economy. FFA Banquet Honors Dads At Tex as Cowboy Reunion Grounds
About 150 businessmen and FFA fathers attended the annual banquet at the Texas Cowboy Reunion grounds. Dr. B. R. Alexander of Texas A&M spoke on world food needs while L. W. Johnson noted the local vocational agriculture program's growth and role in the schools. Gerald Proctor and Weldon Halbrooks discussed the club’s work and recreation. Proctor was thanked with a gift as he plans to teach next year.

Phassends Taken to Local Hospital Monday
Hinssen was removed from the Starsferd Sanitarium to the family home Tuesday afternoon. He was stricken Sunday morning as Fareed and Nadia were en route to Dallas before returning to school after the holidays. The youths took their father to a Weatherford hospital and called Kinney and Son ambulance for transport Monday. They left Tuesday to return to school. Fareed to the University of Oklahoma and Nadia to Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha. They kept their mother uninformed to avoid worry.
