Walker Smith Grocery Burglarized In West Hamilton Raid
Burglars struck the Walker Smith wholesale grocery on West Hamilton Saturday night stealing 31 cases of cigarettes valued over 1800, 12 boxes of chewing tobacco, a Prince Albert case, two Bull Durham cases, two cord casings and three inner tubes totaling over 2000. Tracks show three or four cars were used and the crime left no clear trail. Officers traced a car track to Monday but yielded no leads.
