Claude Day Injured In Car Crash On East Hamilton Street
Claude Day sustained extensive scalp lacerations when the light coupe he rode in with his father in law W O Simpson struck a culvert east of the underpass on East Hamilton Street and overturned last Friday night. Simpson, who drove, was not injured. he was blinded by oncoming headlights and pulled the car too far right before the impact. Claude Day was dismissed from the hospital after stitches were placed.
