Lueders Man Hurt In Tractor Accident
Otto Fickle of Lueders is in serious condition after a tractor accident at the Lueders Building Stone Quarries. Backing up when the steering wheel slipped, the machine ran over his face, broke his collar bone and knocked out his teeth. He was rushed to Stamford sanitarium and doctors say he has a slight chance to recover.

Three Boys Charged for Stealing Chickens Near Tuxedo
Three boys were arrested by Constable J I Crow near Tuxedo after stealing about twenty dollars worth of chickens from area farms. They pleaded guilty before Justice of the Peace R C Thomas and paid fines for the thefts.
