Opening of New Lodge Social Draws Strong Attendance
The Arneliffe branch of the P.A.F.3 Trafalgar Lodge held its first social at the Oddfellows Hall with piano and violin by Mr Rhodin and a paper teaing display by Hro Wennholm of Queen's Jubilee Lodge. Members and guests enjoyed readings, music, dancing, and a hearty repast while noting progress and anticipated reductions in funeral and sick contributions due to a five year surplus and assets valued at 22 shillings 4d per pound.
