Rose Anderson 1873 1907 dies at home in county
Mrs. Rose Anderson wife of Sam Anderson dies at home near the city on September 16 1907 after a long illness. She leaves six children including a two week old babe. Born May 4 1873 she was the eldest daughter of George Egelen and known for her purity of soul, kindness and devotion to family. The funeral was at St Rose church where she was baptized and married. a priest praised her home as a sanctuary for her husband and children and recalled her humble virtuous life and deep faith. Her loss is felt deeply by husband children relatives and friends.

Sudden Death of Mackville Citizen Mr Dock Harmon
Mr Dock Harmon died suddenly at his home in Mackville last Friday night from heart disease. He was about 65, a respected citizen, Baptist church member, and devoted husband and father. Survived by a wife and several grown children, his burial was in the family graveyard Saturday morning. Republicans urged convention in Springfield next Saturday to nominate a Legislature candidate.
