Escape by Nitro Glycerin at Missouri Prison

Mr Riney aged about fifty five died Thursday morning at 6 o clock at his home in the St Rose neighborhood of consumption. He had been in declining health for some time and his death was not unexpected. He contracted a severe spell of lagrip last winter from which he never fully recovered. He leaves a wife and eight children. He was a devout member of St Rose Catholic church from which funeral services occurred Friday morning.

Death of Mrs. Amanda Hyatt at Willisburg
The sudden death of Amanda Hyatt at her Willisburg home last Monday morning shocks her children and friends. Rheumatism of the heart caused her passing between 3 and 6 am while she had attended to her grandchildren before. She leaves Dra. M. W. Hyatt and W. W. Hyatt, plus two daughters Mrs. Ezra Jones and Mrs. Miller Birch. Funeral was at Willisburg Baptist church, Rev. Atkins officiating, with interment there. Mrs. Hyatt, about 67, moved from Anderson county eight years ago. widow since three years. Born on Hardin's creek, she married Mr. Hyatt in March 1860. The Sun offers heartfelt sympathy to the family.
