Road building plan eyed by Kentucky government
The Society of Equity reports a State Institute note on federal road building aid. Col Wathen led talks with a National Bureau of Good Roads member about the government creating a road building program across ten Kentucky points with a free trial mile at each, rock and gravel paid by the county. Committees will study the plan and report. Prominent speakers urged bond approval to fund proper roads, arguing patchwork yields no lasting gains.
