Balltown illicit distilleries busted by revenue officers
In Balltown Nelson county twelve illicit distilleries were located and destroyed by revenue officers over several months averaging one and a half miles apart. One operated within fifty yards of a Balltown store. A disturbance over moon shining led to exposure.
