Roundup notes local miscellany then reports the death of Mr. W. H. Bond who lived here years ago and moved to Lebanon. He died at his home and was buried at St. Dominic's cemetery. He was respected for honest dealings and hard work and is survived by several children including John Bond Louis Bond and Mrs Will McPherson.
Mrs Bridgett Fox aged ninety eight died at her Danville home last week and was buried at St Rose. In Springfield Mrs Lillian VanArsdale wed Mr Earl Brackney at 5 15 AM at Mrs Jas Noes home Rev R E C Lawson officiated and the couple left for Louisville and Columbus to settle in Ohio. The bride, daughter of S C VanArsdale, is a noted member of the local social set. a linen shower was held for the bride-to-be by Mrs J H Hopper.
The Methodist Church ladies will hold an Easter Sale at the Court House on Saturday April 10. They offer dressed chickens ham cakes and other edibles and will take orders for any desired items through April 10 with orders left at Minnie McClelland in Mrs Williams Millinery Store.
Fire in Lebanon yesterday morning started in a confectionary near Main street and spread to a shoe shop, barber shop, and the Crume livery stable opposite the Norris house. Dr. Mattingly owned the stable, Crume Bros previously occupied it, and a sale had just ended with little stock remaining. The fire is believed insured.
On Friday and Saturday April 2 and 8 Mrs Williams invites the public to inspect the latest Spring Styles in Ready-to-Wear Trimmed and Pattern Hats and novelties in the Millinery Line. Complete line of Shirt Waists will be displayed. Everybody cordially invited to attend.
Mrs. W. T. Adams, a well known Fenwick resident, died at home Monday morning. Rev. W. H. Williams led funeral services at the home and interment followed in Bethlehem cemetery. She leaves husband W. T. Adams and several children including Ella Adams, a noted nurse. Kentucky Star Flour ad included.
A county inquest before Judge B L Litsey found Roxana Lay mentally unsound and ordered her committed to Anchor Age asylum. In Springfield Police Court Nad Hardin was examined for shooting at Amos Twigg but was discharged for lack of evidence. Amos Twigg was tried for carrying a deadly weapon, but the gun was not concealed and he was found not guilty. John R Hardin, his wife, and James Lewis were charged with breach of the peace and acquitted.
The Enterprise urges voters to support Judge Thurman, praising his independence, impartial rulings, and long record of service in the district. It warns against personal grievances fueling opposition and calls on citizens to resist efforts by “political hybrids” seeking revenge.

Ky March 24. State headquarters announce a convention to organize a Wool Growers department of the American Society in Kentucky. Delegates from county unions or locals may attend. meeting set for Elizabethtown Hardin county on Thursday April 15 at 10 a.m. to transact official business. J. Cantrill president and S. P. Robertson secretary.
Dr. J. M. Munday, Mercer County’s longtime physician, died Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at his Shaker Bend home after a long cancer illness. He had been in poor health for years and recently consulted a Lexington specialist without major benefit. The report also notes a fatal house fire accident in Salvisa and a major moonshine raid leading to arrests, plus a large whisky warehouse fire at Anderson County’s Old Joe distillery with heavy losses.
