Prayer meetings were held and coffee served by the Indies at polling places. Three years ago Hodgenville went dry by fifty. The today’s vote was essentially a solid move against whisky.

Fatal Accident Ends Bloomfield Boy’s Life
On Sunday at 11, Louis Hayes, son of Mr and Mrs W P Hayes near Bloomfield, was accidentally shot while playing with a colored boy in a cabin. The pistol discharge severed the wind pipe, causing instant death. Funeral held at Bloomfield Monday. Hayes family formerly lived in Pleasant Grove. Louis was a bright, devoted boy loved by friends and playmates.
