Perry Marks, son of W. K. Marks, was accidently shot in the palm of his right hand while hunting last Monday. After shooting a rabbit and reloading, the gun discharged when he picked up the game, the barrel catching and the other load striking the palm and thumb. The wound is painful but not life threatening, with hope of full use after careful treatment. the trigger is described as very soft.

Death of Otho Adams Funeral at St Ivo’s Church
Otho Adams aged about forty five died at his home six miles from town on Saturday December 31 from sarcoma of the shoulder. He was unmarried, a longtime Democrat county committee member, and well known across Washington county for his generosity and enterprise. A devout Catholic, funeral services were held at St Ivo’s church near his home on Monday with burial in the local cemetery. He leaves five brothers and two sisters.
