She was a daughter of the late W L Mulhean and sister of Eliza and Eddie Mulhean. Another sister is a nun in Memphis and attended the funeral.

Peter Borders, a former Washington county resident, died in Louisville after a twenty foot fall down stairs at his son Capt Thos Borders home. He never regained consciousness and died within hours. Survived by sons Thomas Ed Logan James Oscar Mattie and Mrs Alice Hall and another son Owen Borders who once ran a hotel and led the Lebanon stage line. Nephew Henry Borders. Remains brought home and interred in St Rose cemetery.

The Republican Committee of the Eleventh Judicial District met in Lebanon to plan candidate selection for Circuit Judge and Commonwealth's Attorney.
