Strange Band of Men Attributed to Grav Stark Peasantry
ITWO of the men walked close the tones and to a language could not understand. After awhile gio found herself analyse ing the garbed manner of the men. They were dark, strong faced, medium height with fierce black eyes and long black hair. Their attire varied from peasant rags to disreputable uniforms and European oriental mixes. The group numbered ten or twelve, some with swords, others with long rifles and crooked daggers. Aunt Fanny Beverly demands her revolver as fear tightens control and Beverley briefs the servant, threatening danger and urgency in the immediate scene.
