Unconscious Beauty and the Queen of Hidden Face
A king keeps his daughter from seeing her beauty by banning mirrors and drawing off water to hide reflections. As Henrietta grows, she unknowingly becomes queen after her father’s death. A brave general, Theodorus, defeats invading foes and, when revealed to be beautiful, refuses to harm her. The queen then abdicates fear of beauty, marries Theodorus, and their reign becomes famed.
