ISKINE Rally Day services were held at the United church with student minister C Forsyth. The offering totalled 12.42 for a missionary boat. Several locals visited Kenora and Winnipeg while others celebrated birthdays and Thanksgiving. Notables include tractor purchase by A Steffanson, farm sale to George Hunter, and numerous visits to Clover Leaf, Rennie, and Seven Sisters. Multiple hospital, travel, and family events are noted along with church bazaar reminders and wedding/ birth announcements.

The October gathering of the Ladies' Auxiliary of St. Marys church met October 14 at Mrs Long's home with Mrs Bricknell as co hostess. They arranged details for the November bazaar and will meet again November 12 at Mrs J Laurie's with Mrs Goddard as co hostess.
